☆ Smash Ping Pong Restaurant Review ☆

18/10/2017

I had seen a new restaurant opening up in Wimbledon, and it seemed really cool. It is called Smash and is a ping pong bar/ restaurant. I love taking part in Ping Pong it is a fun sport I used to play when we went on holiday.  ☀

My sister and I attended on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We started off by ordering our food and it came super quick. We ordered a Margarita pizza, a garlic bread and a chips to share. The food was delicious.  We also ordered lemonade which was so lovely.☀

Then after we ate we started to play Ping Pong. You can rent the table for a certain amount of time it cost £7 for 30 minutes and £10 for an hour. We didn’t have much time so rented the table for 30 minutes. It was so much fun and I would defiantly go to eat and play Ping Pong again.☀

I would 100% recommend having a visit whether its just for a drink, food or have a play at Ping Pong.☀

Let me know if you have been to a ping pong bar before and what you thought of it.☀

☆ The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation Review ☆

15/10/2017

So after a while of trialling this foundation, I finally got around to writing up my review of my honest thoughts on this foundation.  First of all I love The Ordinary serum foundation, it is so light weight and makes my skin still look like skin. ☀

img_6945

I love The Ordinary as a brand as they are affordable, cruelty free and amazing. So I was excited to try the full coverage foundation. On first look when pumped on the back of my hand it is a thicker constituency and not as runny as their other foundation. I applied one pump to the back of my hand to check out how much surface of my face I could cover. I used a beauty blender to apply and was happily surprised with how much coverage I could get.☀

My main love is that my skin still looks like skin when applied. It helps to even out my skin tone and cover my dark circles. I feel I only have to use 2 pumps to cover the whole of my face and down my neck. ☀

I love this foundation and will be re buying as I love it so much. This brand is my go to for my foundation for about the last 3 months. I love the brand so much and have just started trying some more products. ☀

I hope you all try out a product from them as they are amazing.☀

☆ Visiting Harvey Nichols and Ted Baker ☆

11/10/2017

Going up London to do some window shopping is something I never dreamed of doing. I have been scared of public transport for a while especially the underground, but since May 2017 I have been pushing the boundaries to get out more.☀

I visited Harvey Nichols and looked at the window display for the Fenty Beauty products. The reviews online make all the products seem good. But if I am 100% honest I am not bothered by the collection at all. I feel as if I don’t need any more makeup and this is strange for me as I love makeup and always dream of more. Also I saw the new L’Oreal and Balmain collection but none of them made me happy.☀

Next I popped into Ted Baker a store I love and just admired and took photos of all the lovely new pieces in the autumn/ winter collection. If I was rich I would love to own a lot of these products but for now admiring them makes me happy.☀

Let me know if you have been window shopping recently and have placed any items on your wishlist. ☀

☆ Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium ☆

08/10/2017

After hearing a friend at work say she had visited a lovely cat cafe, I knew I had to go. I love animals, especially cats and am always wanting more cats. So I thought this cafe would be amazing as you can play with and stroke the cats. The cafe is based in Shoreditch and we had to book in advance as it can get really busy. Chloe and I travelled to the Cafe and had our booking fro 11;30. It took us an hour to get there so we both had to get up early on our day off.☀

I wasn’t really sure what to expect on arrival. The sign outside is a small sign so if visiting just be aware of that. The Cafe is split into two sections. The first section is where you can order drinks and see merch they have available for sale. You wait here for your table to be ready. Then you go through and first wash your hands before being shown to your table. The cafe is split over two floors. ☀

On floor one there is a few tables layed out and then lots of cat towers, and cats sleeping. Then if you walk to the front of the shop window there is a tunnel where cats lay on-top and you walk downstairs. Downstairs is layed out and reminded me a lot of Alice and Wonderland. The cafe is beautiful and you can eat and drink at your table and then go wherever you like to play and be with the cats. I took lots of photos and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am even in the process of planning my next trip. ☀

I would 1000% recommend the cat cafe the staff were lovely and the cats were amazing. ☀

☆ Shake Shack review ☆

04/10/2017

My sister and I have decided since she got back from holiday in August that we are going to try once a month to visit a new place up London and spend some quality time together.  We had seen some really cool restaurants when we visited Covent Garden, so did some research to see if they had any branches in another area in London. ☀

We loved the look of the food from Shake Shack so we planned a visit to the one on Tottenham Court Road. The staff at the shop where really lovely and we ordered just some chips for a quick lunch before we headed off shopping. The chips were quick to cook and when they arrived were lovely golden and crispy. The chips were amazing and I may even go as far as saying they were the best chips I have ever had. BTW that is a huge statement for me as I love chips. ☀

We also order some of their homemade lemonade. It was nice but bitter and strong compared to lemonade you can buy off the shop. The experience we had at the shop was amazing and we have even visited again.   ☀

I would 100% recommend the restaurant the food was amazing. Let me know if you have tried Shake Shack and what you thought of the food. ☀

☆ Update on my Microblading ☆

01/09/2017

So it has nearly been 5 weeks since I had my eyebrows micro bladed so I thought I would do an update. I love them and are over the moon with them. Please ignore my skin it is having a bit of a freak out I have lots of texture and bumps under the skin. ☀

A little bit of background is I have fine hair, so my eyebrows always looked sparse. I had looked into to getting my eyebrows micro-bladed but hadn’t booked my appointment yet. I booked in with Adrienne who is an educator of microblading.  ☀

IMG_7156

My eyebrows have healed well, and I love being able to get up in the morning and not have to do much with my face to look presentable. Sometimes I leave the house with just moisturiser and other times I will apply some mascara and lip gloss and thats me done. I feel a lot more confident now and I love the results.☀

At first I was worried after the producer because my eyebrows looked so dark, but they can fade up to 40%. With cleaning and creaming them everyday, within the first 3 days they looked a lot less obvious and were healing nicely. ☀

I followed the aftercare given which was was them with cotton pads and bottle water, patting them dry and then applying cream which I was given. I am in the middle of booking my touch up which is recommended just to check how the eyebrows are and ensure you are happy with the final results. So I will do another update after my touch up. ☀

IMG_7159

If you have any questions about the producer please leave them on this post and I will reply to them all. I would 100 % percent recommend it to anyone who is thinking about the producer or who feels they don’t have very good natural eyebrows. ☀

☆ Day-trip to Selfridges ☆

27/09/2017

My sister and I have been travelling quite a lot lately when we can up to London to see things we wouldn’t usually. So one week we both had the same day off and visited Selfridges. We got our makeup done at the YSL counter with their new 24 hour foundation which we both didn’t like in the end. We both have dry skin so it did cling to dry patches on our face and no shock to me their wasn’t a colour light enough to match my skin.☀

We ended up having a look around the two lowest floor which included all the makeup brands like YSL, Huda Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown e.t.c. We also ended up at the food hall where we bought some treats which cost a lot of money.☀

To start with we picked up some chocolate covered fruit. This pack included both Bananas and Strawberries drizzled in milk chocolate which was delicious. I must it admit they tasted amazing but they should of for the price.☀

Next when we were having a look around we found this counter which sells biscuits inn all different variations, so my sister picked up a few different options to take home and share with the family. Personally I didn’t like any of them but she enjoyed them all. ☀

I defiantly would recommend having a little look around the department stores up London as you get an insight into what is current and get to all the lovely displays.☀

Let me know what places you like to browse or shop in at Selfridges.☀
